This presentation will describe the types of policies that nonprofit organizations need to have in place to ensure that their planned giving programs are administered in a manner that protects the interests of the organization, provides an effective and meaningful giving opportunity for its donors, and creates beneficial contributions that will further the mission of the nonprofit for years to come. We’ll look at policies that outline considerations and provide safeguards surrounding the acceptance of various types of assets. We’ll also explore policy options related to the various gift arrangements.
