Cyber-Crime in the Age of Remote Work and the Pandemic


A non-technical presentation on evaluating cyber risk levels both personally and professionally, in the context of the rise of remote work since the onset of the pandemic. SSA Cooke provides examples of cybercrimes with targets ranging from individual to institutional, with a focus on social engineering - including but not limited to Business Email Compromise (BEC), a tactic which has proved particularly damaging in the workplace during the pandemic.
